Why would someone want to work with Deana? Deana’s goal is to educate and help her clients develop strategies for getting their food and nutrition in tune with their lifestyle and to meet their personal and health goals. She believes that food is fuel and life-giving medicine. But she also believes that food is community, history, lived experience, and joy. When you team up with Deana, she will help you learn how food can be your medicine by digging deep into your signs and symptoms, which paints a story of your root causes. She believes that everyone is individual, all things matter, and everything is important. Her clients are individuals, not just a diagnosis.
What to expect in your first session
During an initial session with Dean, one can expect to dig deep into your current medical concerns, health history, lifestyle, typical dietary intake, physical activity, and a functional evaluation of any labs you may have. We look together at the signs and symptoms that paint a story into the root causes of what either ails you or your goals. We customize a nutritional plan that’s right for your unique needs.

Ainslee Guilbeau, RDN

Ainslee’s interest in nutrition began growing up in Louisiana, a state known for it’s unique and delicious cuisine, as well as it’s alarming obesity and comorbidity rate. She noticed people in her community struggling to maintain a healthy, balanced diet and lifestyle, and due to that, suffering the health and weight related consequences. She wanted to learn how to help others strike the balance between enjoying food and fueling the body for lifelong health and wellness.
Ainslee obtained her Bachelor’s in Dietetics from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and completed her Dietetics Internship at Louisiana Tech. In her early professional career, she worked for a large health system, providing nutrition education and counseling in the hospital, community clinics, and school-based health centers. Following that, she worked as a Nutrition Educator for a large Louisiana food bank, providing nutrition classes and healthy cooking demonstrations throughout the community.
Ainslee believes that there is no one perfect diet; there is only the best diet plan for each person, one that considers the whole person and their individual health concerns, conditions, and goals. Ainslee’s mission is to utilize her experience and expertise in food science and human metabolism to build a comprehensive nutrition plan with each client, empowering them with the knowledge to meet their nutrition and wellness goals and increase their quality of life.
